Hailesboro Man Jailed after Fight

New York State PoliceGOUVERNEUR, NY - Gouverneur-based State Police arrested Ronald F. Taylor on Thursday following a dispute in the Town of Fowler.

Police say that Taylor engaged in a verbal dispute with Jeffrey Stevens and that Taylor yelled obscenities and threatened Stevens with bodily harm.  They also allege that Taylor damaged a stereo bar owned by Stevens.

Taylor was charged with Disorderly Conduct, 2nd-Degree Harassment, and 4th-Degree Criminal Mischief following the dispute.  He was also charged with 3rd-Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Unsafe Start.  

Taylor was arraigned in the Town of Fowler Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,000 cash bail.  He was also served with an Order of Protection.  Taylor is to reappear in Town of Fowler Court on June 3rd, 2009 at 6:00 pm.
