STAR LAKE, NY - Police report that an accident occurred yesterday on State Route 3 in Star Lake.

They report that Margaret Mansfield, 67, of Hainesport, NJ was slowing in traffic to make a left turn when a vehicle operated by Lillian Barriger, 82, of Canton rear-ended Ms. Mansfield's vehicle.

Ms. Barriger reportedly suffered a minor laceration to the head.  She was ticketed by State Police for Following Too Close and issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Fine Court on July 14th, 2009 at 6:30 pm.
