OGDENSBURG, NY – Fourth Coast Entertainment, in conjunction with the Ogdensburg International Seaway Festival, is pleased to announce the first Seaway Music Festival - July 18th starting at 3:00pm at Morissette Park in Ogdensburg, N.Y.

The concert will consist of original bands and musicians from the Fourth Coast Entertainment Magazine band directory in support of local and regional original music.

A break from your typical rock band, with a diverse music style ranging from electric ballads to downright refined tones, Sabbatical does not fit into a neat category. There are four attributes that make Sabbatical unique: musical versatility, raw emotion, compelling vocals, and lyrical brilliance.

Sabbatical is comprised of five seasoned musicians with completely different backgrounds who collectively have over 20 years in the music industry.

Seventh Son is a hard rock band based out of Watertown, NY. The group was formed in early 2008 out of the ashes of several well known groups and has quickly become one of the top local acts in the area. Seventh Son takes it influences out of such groups as Guns N Roses, Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver. The band has shared the stage with many acts and continues to produce high energy original rock.

 Christian Parker is a singer/songwriter from Upstate Northern New York. He has recorded 6 studio albums and has been performing for over 20 years throughout the region. Christian’s songs are about everyday life experiences, good or bad, there is always hope at the end of the day. He has shared the stage with many well known artists and has a large catalog of unreleased material which will be available in the near future, along with a solo album entitles “Best Kept Secret” fall of 2009.

Fourth Coast Entertainment publication is a free Guide to support and advertise the Arts, Performing Arts, Recreation, and Music & Entertainment for the North Country, Adirondacks and surrounding areas of Northern New York.  Fourth Coast Magazine advertises, promotes and provides information on concerts, night clubs, entertainment, fairs, NASCAR, racing, recreational entertainment, sports, camping and fishing, casinos, overnight accommodations, food and tourism.

Featuring stories and interviews with local musicians and bands, concert reviews and MySpace music reviews, a classified section for musicians, a regional band directory and an events calendar.

The event will start at 3: pm July 18th at Morissette Park in Ogdensburg, N.Y.
