CHATEAUGAY, NY - New York State Police arrested Kathryn A. Shoemaker, 33, of Chateaugay, NY on charges of 2nd-Degree Murder in connection with the death of Ravin H. Miller of Churubusco NY. Police say that on August 20th, 2009 at 11:40 am, the state police received a report of an apparent suicide in Churubusco. Ravin Miller was found deceased inside his residence by his father. Responding State Police investigators noted several inconsistencies at the scene and later established a case indicating that Miller was murdered. Shoemaker will be arraigned today before Town of Plattsburgh Justice Kevin Patnode.
